Welcome John Tucker Fine Arts blog! This is new experience for us and we hope a new way to talk with our friends and clients about the world of art. We hope to use this blog to tell you a little about what we think and do in the gallery, and learn about your opinions and ideas about art. We love old and new painting and folk art. We want to know what you love and don’t about art, galleries, artists and art dealers. So, let’s talk art talk…
February 4th, 2009 at 5:37 pm I have been searching on the internet for what I consider fine art, not some sort of childish scribbling, and yours is the best by far that I have seen. Keep up the good work.
February 17th, 2009 at 11:27 am Thanks for the kind word Leon. What did you especially like? Always interested in reviews! Chris
March 14th, 2009 at 1:49 pm Thanks for posting this lovely William Samuel Horton, an artist I was woefully ignorant of. From searching Hortons at fine museums from San Francisco to Boston to Paris, I have to say you have a gem. Congratulations.
April 8th, 2009 at 9:25 am Thanks Bill. This is the second William Horton we’ve had and I think one of the best I’ve seen. It shows the influence of his associates and neighbors (Monet, etc.) in Paris. No wonder he stayed!
